High Efficiency, Shadow-less, Portable Solar PV Towers for Power Generation

IIT Delhi researchers have developed high-efficiency, shadow-less, portable solar PV towers that can be mounted on trucks for power generation anywhere. These towers come in non-mechanical and mechanical tracking versions with capacities of 3kW and 5kW, scalable to higher capacities. Applications include electric vehicle charging stations, rooftop solar power for buildings, and agricultural uses like solar water pumping. The technology generates 20-30% more power while using only 50-60% of the rooftop space compared to conventional systems. Patented and licensed to EP Sunsol Private Limited, these systems have been successfully deployed in multiple locations.
