A multifunctional fabric has been developed using titania nanostructures and crosslinking agents to achieve self-cleaning, antimicrobial, UV-protective, anti-fouling, and anti-wrinkle properties. This process enhances the retention of nanostructures on fabric, enabling strong photocatalytic reduction of dyes and organic stains. The fabric maintains its properties even after 30 washes and can remain wearable for seven days without washing. Applications include home textiles, apparel, and surfaces prone to frequent contact. A prototype fabric has been developed and successfully tested in a relevant environment.
