This technology aims to develop an indigenous high-frequency X-ray power source, addressing India’s dependence on imported components for X-ray units. Designed for scalability and customization, the power source serves applications in medical imaging, industrial electrostatic precipitators, high-frequency arc generation, and DC fast chargers for EVs. Its multifunctional design enables use across medical, industrial, and defense sectors, competing with global leaders like Siemens and Philips. Currently in the component validation stage, this innovation holds significant potential to provide cost-effective solutions, support primary healthcare infrastructure, and reduce environmental pollution. The project originated from industry feedback and aligns with India’s goal of strengthening local manufacturing.
