Optimally Allocate & Schedule Wind Turbines & EVs
Optimized Wind Turbine and EV Scheduling Using Enhanced Golden Jackal Algorithm
Tags: Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, Energy & Environment, Transportation & Automotive
This technology uses an improved Golden Jackal optimization (IGJO) algorithm to optimally allocate and schedule wind turbines and electric vehicle (EV) parking lots within an electrical distribution network. The algorithm minimizes costs associated with power loss, grid energy purchase, wind energy, and battery degradation. It achieves a better objective function value than conventional methods such as particle swarm optimization. The IGJO algorithm reduces energy loss costs by 29.76%, grid energy costs by 65.86%, and network voltage deviations by 18.63%. Applications include optimizing renewable energy integration and EV charging infrastructure in smart grids.
