Researchers at IIT Delhi have developed "Robomuse 5.0," a mobile robot capable of carrying payloads up to 100 kg and performing object manipulation with an attached arm. This robot is useful for various industries and serves as a research platform for educational institutions. A licensing agreement for its technology transfer has been signed with SVR InfoTech, a Pune-based company. Robomuse 5.0 features ROS-enabled functionalities, modular design, and zero turning radius for easy autonomous navigation. Applications include transporting heavy items and performing pick-and-place operations in factory settings.
