A novel disperse dye has been developed for mosquito-repellent and multifunctional finishing of thermoplastic fibers, integrating antibacterial and UV-protective properties. This technology embeds the mosquito-repellent function directly into the dyeing process, ensuring long-lasting protection without relying on conventional textile finishing treatments. It is compatible with standard exhaust and continuous dyeing processes, making it easy to apply. Applications include protective textiles and mosquito-repellent fabric products. A prototype has been developed and successfully characterized.
