This technology presents an indigenous 5G core network that is standards-compliant, cloud-native, and interoperable with third-party components, forming part of an end-to-end 5G/5Gi network. It provides a scalable and cost-effective solution to address India’s need for secure and locally developed 5G infrastructure. Applications include testing research ideas, commercial deployment, and critical use cases like defense and law enforcement networks. All components have been validated and are ready for campus deployment, aiming to foster India’s transition from a technology consumer to a producer. Developed collaboratively, this innovation is expected to address India-specific challenges and contribute to the global telecom ecosystem.
