High-Capacitance Electrode Design for Efficient Storage
An Electrode Structure for Solid-State Batteries
Tags: National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, Energy & Environment
This technology introduces an electrode structure for batteries featuring a porous conductive layer that enhances ion flow and conductivity. By adjusting the ratio of the pore structure, batteries can be optimized for different current flows and environments. The porous design allows lithium ions to move through both the pore structure and active material, improving charge/discharge efficiency. Applications include solid-state batteries for energy storage and portable devices. The design also reduces the use of organic solvents, preventing corrosion and capacity loss.
