This technology introduces a standardized method to evaluate the output performance of nanogenerators, providing the first practical way to measure maximized energy output, overcoming limitations in previous theoretical approaches. The method identifies breakdown points in triboelectric nanogenerators (TENG) and enhances power management through the air breakdown effect. Applications include high-performance TENG for power management, wireless signal transmission, and gas sensing. The method ensures accurate assessment across different TENG structures.
