The Carbamate Process produces cellulose carbamate (CC) through microwave irradiation and hydrothermal conditions, reinforced with graphene oxide to form robust CC-GO membranes. These membranes offer improved solubility and structural strength, making them suitable for industrial and agricultural applications. The technology can replace traditional viscose processes, offering a more environmentally friendly alternative for producing membranes and fibers. Applications include wastewater treatment, medical hydrogels, and plastic packaging. The process allows large-scale production and decentralized processing.
