CSIR-Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute [CSIR-CGCRI]: This invention introduces an ultrasonic-assisted fractionation technique for the green synthesis of a highly stable graphene sol, which remains dispersed in an aqueous medium for over three years. The process is environmentally friendly, using non-toxic organic solvents and minimal hazardous materials, thereby reducing energy and processing costs. The graphene produced can be applied in thin films for membrane development and as a powder. The simplicity of the method makes it accessible for large-scale production. This innovation holds potential for diverse applications, especially in industries requiring advanced materials with high stability and environmental sustainability.
