This novel, compact, and affordable device enables point-of-care detection of albumin and creatinine levels, critical biomarkers for kidney health. Designed to address chronic kidney disease, pre-eclampsia, and related conditions, it offers early diagnosis and monitoring in both urban and rural settings. The device employs a metal-based detection method for creatinine and provides a cost-effective alternative to existing products. Prototypes have been tested with clinical samples, and discussions for licensing are ongoing. With an estimated cost of INR 2000 for the device and INR 50 per test strip, it is poised to enhance public health accessibility.
